Assistant Project Manager – admin / office

Part Time, Full Time or Internship

A local commercial general contractor is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join the team. Position can be part time, full time or internship (please note desired on resume). We are seeking a loyal, long-term member of our team. We offer a great work environment for someone with a great attitude.

Duties:
Generally assists project managers with administration of projects. Examples include maintaining project logs, keeping meeting notes, assisting with takeoffs/bidding process and close outs. Assistance in marketing and other miscellaneous duties may come up.

Requirements:
Must have basic knowledge of reading blueprints, tape measure & basic construction principals. Must have at least 2 years prior commercial construction experience in an office environment. Proficiency in MS Office programs is a must, training can be provided in MS Project & Bluebeam. Must be able to communicate with coworkers, clients, and subcontractors in a professional and well organized manner. Attention to detail is a must.

Driver’s License and Reliable Transportation Required

Benefits after 60 days for full-time employees — health insurance, 401(k) w/match. Dental, accident and life coverage also available. Paid vacation after 1 year full time employment. Pre-employment and random drug testing required, as we are a drug-free workplace.
